Directors for 2019-2020 Season

Nose Creek Players is inviting applications to direct its upcoming Spring\ Summer productions of:

Position Type: Volunteer

Deadline to Apply: July 15, 2019

     Spring Production

     Alice in Wonderland (May 21-May23)                                                                 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Time Commitment

  • Attend rehearsals scheduled for days agreed upon by NCP Board of  Directors.

  • Attendance at scheduled production meetings, typically scheduled twice monthly and, depending on the event, starting to meet anywhere from four months to eight months prior to the event

  • Participation in the post-production debrief, typically scheduled to take place within one month following the event

Requirements

  • Follow vision and mandate of Nose Creek Players

  • excellent leadership skills

  • excellent organizational skills

  • excellent communication and listening skills

  • ability to work as a team and share ideas and also work independently on tasks assigned outside of scheduled meetings

Supervision

Our Directors will report directly to the designated Producer of each play.

 

If concerns continue to exist the director may speak directly with a member of Nose Creek Players Board of Directors.

 

Education Coordinator Committee Member

           

Position Type: Volunteer

Education Coordinator Committee Members are responsible for the successful delivery of education programs- ensuring that each session is planned, staffed and resourced to a high standard.

 

Tasks

Generally, tasks for which the Education Coordinator Planning Committee Members are responsible include:

 

  • Research and development of educational workshops for adults and youth.

  • Liaise with workshop facilitators

  • Create resources and marketing materials for workshops

  • Register participants , track payment of fees and maintain and update participant registration list

  • Coordinate with Board of Directors

 

 

Tasks may also include, but are not necessarily limited to, such things as:

  • helping to promote the event

  • Post event reporting

 

Time Commitment

 Generally, time commitment for Educational Coordinator Committee Members includes:

 

  • Attendance at scheduled committee meetings, typically scheduled once monthly and, depending on the event, starting to meet anywhere from four months to eight months prior to the event

  • Participation in the post-event debrief, typically scheduled to take place within one month following the event

  • ability to work as a team and share ideas and also work independently on tasks assigned outside of scheduled meetings

  • ability to attend at least once monthly meetings, typically scheduled for evening hours

 

Initial Screening

  • participation in a position-specific interview with the Board of Directors

  • provision of at least one character reference

Supervision

Education  Committee Members report directly to the Nose Creek Players Board of Directors
